This course is intended for Human Resources Professionals and Managers; Plan Administrators, and Benefits Administrators who handle protected health information.
Human Resource Professionals often have access to employee health records, and as such are subject to HIPAA legislation. It is important for Human Resource Professionals to understand what is covered under HIPAA guidelines and what their duties are to maintain the privacy and security of Protected Health Information.
